QSCC Achieves Cross-Functional Visibility by Integrating Internal & External Systems

Quality Supply Chain Co-Op, Inc. (QSCC) is the exclusive purchasing co-op for Wendy’s. QSCC is the second-largest purchasing co-op in the food service industry with $3 billion in buying power.

It is critical for QSCC to have accurate and timely data to ensure continuous supply of products to Wendy’s restaurants on time and at the best value.

QSCC recognized the need to innovate its supply chain management to achieve its high-level commitment of service to its members.

Combining this visibility with QSCC’s internal data warehouse has reduced both out-of-stock situations at restaurants and write-offs of obsolete inventory.

Integration and collaborative opportunities are not just happening within QSCC’s IT structure. Through the OnDemand Contract Management component, QSCC facilitates a pricing management process between itself and its suppliers by giving the suppliers direct Web access to OnDemand to upload pricing for review. This component has streamlined a once time-consuming administrative task, freeing QSCC users to focus on more strategic initiatives.
