Ports Worsening and How to be the Shipper of Choice to Improve your Supply Chain

The National Industrial Transportation League recently held its annual conference and there were two things we learned about that we wanted to share - the situation at the ports and how to become a "shipper of choice".

The National Industrial Transportation League took place last week and there were two things that you need to know about.

The first one concerns what’s happening with the ports.

Watch the video (above) to hear what’s happening right now and we also have an in-depth interview with the CEO of the NITL, Bruce Carlton about the port situation if you’d like to learn even more.

The second thing coming out the conference is that a lot of people are talking about becoming a “shipper of choice”.

The Voluntary Guide to Good Business Relations for Shipper, Receivers, Carriers, and Drivers shared at the Highway Committee meeting will help you determine if you are indeed a preferred shipper, and if not, what you need to do about it.
