PITT OHIO announced that they have been awarded their sixth American Trucking Association (ATA) President´s Trophy.
The award also has the industry consensus of being the highest safety award available to all motor carriers in the United States.
The President’s Trophy is presented by the ATA and its Safety Management Council to one carrier in each of the following categories: Under 25 Million Miles (small fleet); 25 to 100 Million Miles (mid-size fleet); and Over 100 Million Miles (large fleet).
PITT OHIO earned the award in the mid-size fleet category.
PITT OHIO’s VP Risk Management Compliance and Government Affairs, Ron Uriah, said, “The President´s Trophy is the American Trucking Associations highest motor carrier safety award. We appreciate the hard work and dedication to safe driving by our drivers on the highway every day. Their performance has continuously achieved this impressive recognition for Pitt Ohio throughout the nation.”
