Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Multienterprise Supply Chain Business Networks Report

Uniquely positioned to assist companies with their digital transformation initiatives, E2open ranked as the leader with the highest overall score in Gartner’s magic quadrant for multi-enterprise supply chain business networks report.

Assisting Companies with Digital Transformation

E2open, the one place in the cloud to run your supply chain, is uniquely positioned to assist companies with digital transformation as the only vendor listed in Gartner’s multienterprise network as well as both supply chain planning Magic Quadrants.

E2open has been positioned by Gartner in the Leaders quadrant as the vendor with the highest overall score in its November 2018 Magic Quadrant for Multienterprise Supply Chain Business Networks.

As the world’s leading information technology research and advisory company, Gartner examined the multienterprise network landscape and evaluated each vendor’s ability to execute and completeness of vision.

In addition to the highest overall rank for combined completeness of vision and ability to execute, E2open was placed furthest on the completeness of vision axis by a wide margin.

Gartner’s report identified the 12 vendors with multienterprise supply chain business networks of scale, based on criteria of size and scope of the network, support of multiple industries and geographies, and connections to one or more ecosystem.

E2open is the only vendor in the Magic Quadrant whose cross-industry, the global network connects to each category of partner ecosystem – suppliers, contract manufacturers, customers, distributors and logistics providers.

“Multienterprise networks are foundational to running a connected, live supply chain,” said Pawan Joshi, Senior Vice President of Products and Strategy at E2open.

“E2open has been at the forefront of innovation to create a bi-directional network to not only power visibility and decision-making applications, but empower all stakeholders from within and across multienterprise ecosystems to orchestrate the end-to-end supply chain – from raw materials to end consumer and everyone in between.”

Multienterprise networks and the ability to connect to external partner ecosystems have been recognized as a critical and foundational architectural requirement for digital transformation, outlined in Gartner’s recently published Technology Reference Model for Stage 5 Maturity Supply Chain Planning.

E2open is uniquely positioned to help companies on their journey to digital transformation as the only vendor listed by Gartner in this multienterprise network Magic Quadrant and both of its supply chain planning Magic Quadrants (Supply Chain Planning System of Record Magic Quadrant and Sales and Operations System of Differentiation Magic Quadrant).

“Our network is at the heart of everything we do, providing the data required to power modern supply chains,” said Michael Farlekas, president and chief executive officer of E2open.

“Monitoring the pulse of operations using real-time, decision-grade information on what is actually happening, instead of what you thought should happen, collectively making decisions, and ensuring they are executed by the relevant enterprises across the supply chain – this is core in a connected supply chain. We believe Gartner’s recognition of E2open validates our ability to help customers, at any maturity, meet their immediate visibility, planning, and execution goals. Our unified network platform grows as customer’s business processes mature – from spreadsheets to complete digital transformation.”

E2open has the largest global multienterprise business network with more than 60,000 trading partners and 2.3 million resellers, serving multiple industries including high-tech, consumer goods, industrial and automotive, telecom, aerospace and defense, and life sciences.

A full suite of intelligent applications uses data from internal and partner ecosystems for end-to-end visibility, planning, optimization, execution, and collaboration.

These applications employ advanced process automation and machine learning technologies to process masses of data in real-time, improve productivity and consistently make better business decisions.
