CEMA reports July booked orders down 13.2% compared to July 2015
Shipments up 1.2% compared to July 2015 sales, including a nearly 8% increase in unit handling equipment.
The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association has reported that its July 2016 booked orders decreased 13.2% when compared to July 2015 orders.
July 2016 booked orders when compared to June 2016 booked orders were down 19.4%. July booked orders were down 9.8% for bulk handling equipment and down 24.2% for unit handling equipment when compared to June.
CEMA’s July 2016 billed sales (shipments) increased by 1.2% when compared to July 2015 sales. July 2016 billed sales when compared to June 2016 billed sales were up 2.1%.
July billed sales were down 12.5% for bulk handling equipment and up 7.8% for unit handling equipment when compared to June.
